Start Immediately / Full Time / Office in Berlin-Kreuzberg and Home Office
As an associate product manager at betterplace, you take ownership of several products on our platform, while still receiving mentorship and guidance from our senior product managers. You will craft the vision, define the roadmap, and partner with a cross-functional team of engineers, designers, product marketers, and others to lead the end-to-end product development cycle, including product discovery and delivery:
Create and prioritize hypotheses, drive user research and work with data analysts, UX designers and tech leads to understand user problems and verify ideas.
Work with the development team to deliver solutions that impact the way our users interact with the platform.
Build and continuously refine the delivery and opportunity validation backlog and define metrics that measure our success.
Conduct experiments and A/B tests to understand which initiatives will have the most impact on the success metrics you defined.
Provide product analysis to inform internal stakeholders about key decisions
Investigate and triage bug reports, ensuring a comprehensive assessment and impact analysis for issues.
Contribute to improving our products by aggregating and understanding product feedback and enhancements.
Support our development team for testing our applications.
Initial experience in product management or related roles – ideally within an international set-up and at a high-traffic online marketplace or SaaS product. We encourage applications from related fields such as online fundraising, data analytics, development and marketing.
Curiosity and can-do attitude – initiative to dig into the why, what & how
Analytical mindset and experience in hypothesis and data based product development, e.g., user and market research, validating ideas, experimentation, A/B testing, usability testing, data analysis (knowledge of SQL is a plus)
Team player, with an ability to connect people and teams to our company vision.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
BS/BA required (technical background preferred)
Advanced knowledge of German (B2)
High interest and enthusiasm for the civil society sector
